Actio Recruitment is proud to be working with an established precision engineering company based in Gillingham who are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled machining team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC professional who takes pride in producing high-quality, precision-engineered components. You will be working on Fanuc-controlled machining centres, setting and operating—or programming, depending on your experience—across a range of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines (Fanuc controls)
• Programming at the machine if already a programmer
• Work towards becoming a programmer if currentlySetter Operator
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Ensuring components meet tight tolerances and quality standards
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance
• Working collaboratively with the wider production team

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator or Programmer)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
• A background in precision engineering
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
• The ability to work independently on a day shift
