Seasonal Cleaning Operatives - Newmarket Racecourse
£9.25 - £11 per hour
Our well-respected client is looking for reliable Cleaning Operatives needed for various hours and days with immediate effect. This can be part-time or full-time depending on your availability. You will be located at the prestigious Newmarket Racecourse grounds and buildings, covering the full summer season, including the Newmarket Nights events, up until September. On-site parking is available.
Your main aim will be to carry out a range of activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning washrooms and litter picking. As part of the core role, you will ensure cleaning cupboards are kept tidy, equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly, and you will follow Health and Safety standards at all times.
What will you need?
Cleaning experience is preferred, but training will be provided. You will need the ability to work independently and use initiative, as part of a wider team. You should be educated to at least National Level 1 e.g. GCSE.
Team members should have great attention to detail, with good verbal and written communication skills. Our client asks you to be smart, reliable and responsible, along with a flexible approach to work, as there will be many opportunities for overtime when cover is required.
