Permanent District Heating Engineer - Tower Hamlets

We're seeking a skilled District Heating Engineer to join our team, working on communal heating systems, hot water networks, and HIUs in occupied domestic dwellings.

Salary & Benefits: - £40,300 per annum + call-out & overtime - Van & fuel card provided

Location: Tower Hamlets

Hours: - Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm (42.5 hours) - Call-out and overtime available at single-time rates

Standby pay: £120 (Mon-Fri), £180 (Sat-Sun)

What You'll Do:

Work on HIUs

·Y & S plan systems, and communal boiler rooms

·Use freeze kits, drain down blocks, fit radiators, isolation valves, 2-port valves, lock shields, TRVs, and unblock pipework

·Perform electrical fault-finding on HIUs and pump systems

·Carry out soldering, barrel work, and cylinder/plantroom maintenance

Requirements:

·Strong knowledge of HIUs and communal heating systems

·Experienced with 2/3/4 pump systems

·Competent in electrical fault-finding, soldering, and pipework repairs - Able to work safely in occupied dwellings
