This company is based in Bedfordshire and convert standard cars and vans into specialist vehicles for operational use for the emergency services and are looking for a Mechanic to join their manufacturing team.
The work is focused on the emergency services and conversion of vehicles police cars and vans, along with paramedic vehicles and many other types of build.

We welcome applications from candidates who have an interest in motor vehicles, any vehicle mechanics experience/qualification at college, looking to develop a career with a company who strive to upskill and train their staff to high standards. We welcome applications from people with a passion for vehicle repairs, tyre fitters, body repair technicians, trainee mechanics, level 1/level 2 qualified mechanics, vehicle technicians, assemblers, assembly fitters, electrical fitters, auto electricians, panel technicians

Duties of the Mechanic role;

Stripping down and rebuilding vehicles
Fitting Specialist storage
Install telematic systems
Interior fitting of vehicles
CCTV Systems
Interior racking systems
Experience required for the Mechanic role;

Auto-electrical experience an advantage
Varied skills set
Practical skills an advantage
Open to learning and good work ethic
