Warehouse Manager - Poole - up to £38,000 depending on experienceOur client, a fast-paced global solutions provider, is renowned for its exceptional customer service and ability to deliver operational solutions in an ever-evolving market. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their vibrant team and lead the day-to-day running of their department.You will play a critical role in leading operational excellence on the shop floor by managing a dynamic team and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety policies and reporting procedures.
  • Supervising the team and overseeing daily operations to meet SLA and project timelines.
  • Managing staffing resources, including recruitment, training, development, and performance.
  • Taking ownership of Works Order planning and execution.
  • Overseeing stock levels of consumables and safety equipment.
  • Conducting 1-to-1 meetings, performance reviews, and back-to-work interviews.
  • Upholding 5S and lean operational practices to support continuous improvement (CIP).
  • Raising purchase orders and managing internal use product inventories.
  • Providing accurate reporting and KPI analysis for senior management.
  • Ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained, serviced, and operational.
  • Supporting the development of training guides, toolbox talks, and SOPs.

  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and bring structure, clarity, and energy to the team.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety, 5S, and lean methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Experience with stock control, purchase orders, and resource planning.
  • A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures and process documentation.
