Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Manager
Location: Dartford, Kent
Contract: Permanent, Full Time - 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + Benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to oversee mechanical systems at a large, complex site. You'll manage the maintenance, compliance, and performance of critical systems, leading a team to ensure safe, reliable operations.
Responsibilities:
* Manage specialist contracts, ensuring compliance and service quality.
* Oversee PPM programme and ensure plant reliability.
* Supervise statutory compliance maintenance and ensure accurate documentation.
* Contribute to asset lifecycle planning and risk identification.
* Support capital projects and manage technical specifications.
* Provide leadership, training, and development to the engineering team.
* Deputise for senior management and coordinate with other teams.
What You'll Need:
* Mechanical engineering qualifications (experience in regulated environments).
* Experience as an Authorised Person for mechanical systems.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including process equipment.
* Familiarity with CAFM or asset management systems.
* Leadership and team management skills.
