The role is to be based in London; however, they have a network of offices throughout the UK. The firm is seeking to recruit a Pensions Partner to join their expanding team in London
You will join a skilled and very successful Pensions team, highly regarded nationally and internationally for the work that they do.
You will deal with a broad range of work, working on Employers (UK and International), Trustees (including offshore), Pension Product Providers and Individuals on all aspects of pensions law. This will include:
- Pension Scheme Documentation
- Corporate Transactions
- Pension Regulator Clearance
- Reorganising Schemes
- Pension Protection Fund Negotiations
- Funding matters
- Closing schemes on future accrual
- and winding-up schemes
Working alongside the senior management team, you will also be responsible for further developing this department, therefore experience of this will be advantageous.
- You will be an experienced Pensions Lawyer or Partner with at least 8 years PQE
- (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Salary is above market rate and negotiable, dependent upon experience
