Our client based in Bangor is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Machinist to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in textile manufacturing and embroidery. Full training will be provided to develop your skills in operating machinery and producing high-quality finished products.

Role Trainee Machinist

Location Bangor

Duration 12 weeks temporary to permanent

Rate of Pay £12.71 per hour

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 1.30pm

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn to operate embroidery and sewing machinery safely and efficiently
• Produce high-quality embroidered items in line with customer specifications
• Follow job sheets, designs, and work instructions accurately
• Assist with setting up machines, threading, and basic adjustments
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Support the team with packing, finishing and general production tasks
• Work to deadlines in a fast-paced production environment

• Basic understanding of machinery or textiles (desirable but not essential)
