Supervising Social Worker -  Compass Fostering

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join a dynamic and supportive fostering team. Based in Whitstable/West Malling, you will manage a caseload across Kent, working in a flexible hybrid model combining office, home, and car-based working.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of approximately 13-15 fostering families
Provide supervision, support, and guidance to foster carers
Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding for children and young people
Support carers in developing their skills to meet children's needs
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call service
Contribute to the ongoing development of the fostering service
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with fostering regulationsSalary: £34,650 - £43,050 per annum

Requirements

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Experience in fostering or children's social care (e.g. looked after children teams)
Strong understanding of fostering regulations, safeguarding, and childcare law
Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
Commitment to supporting foster carers and improving outcomes for children
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
