An internationally branded hotel group is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance team in Cape Town. Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Financial Controller & will assist with effectively managing financial reporting and administration in line with group policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
• Stay up to date with procurement processes, stock control, and food and beverage financial policies.
• Access and implement HR and payroll reports, policies, and legislative requirements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Manage team members fairly, aligned with labour legislation and company policies.
• Maintain a professional, well-organized, and presentable accounts office.
• Foster effective interdepartmental cooperation to consistently exceed guest expectations.
• Work independently or collaboratively to uphold high standards of quality and service.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate (NQF Level 4) and a post-matric financial qualification.
• Strong command of verbal and written English (NQF Level 4).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance role within hospitality or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, controls, and hospitality finance best practices.
