Market 36 are currently looking for an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Engineer on behalf of their client based in Ipswich on a full-time and permanent basis.

Reporting directly to their workshop co-ordinator you will be responsible for all quotes, servicing, overhauls, rewinds & site work. Working predominantly in a thriving workshop as well as on site representing the Company when required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Stripping pumps, electric motors, gearboxes, fan units & other electrical equipment for evaluation/ quotation.
• Following through with the repairs to completion and satisfactory testing.
• Attending various sites for removal of equipment, repairing & refitting.
• Being part of an ‘On Call’ rota to respond to emergency works.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Have experience as an Electrical & Mechanical engineer.
• Have an excellent attitude towards work & others.
• Be methodical in your approach.
• Be competent to work on your own and the flexibility to be part of our team.
• Have a UK driving licence.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (plus overtime)

Salary: £35,000
