A growing business situated in the heart of Newcastle city centre, that's expanding its payroll team and looking to bring in a Payroll Advisor. You'll be joining a friendly, down-to-earth team where people support each other and take real pride in what they do.

It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys running payroll from start to finish and building strong, long-term relationships with the people they work with.

Details

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of payrolls, supporting a range of clients with varying complexity. Day-to-day, that includes:

* Processing weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish

* Handling pension setup, calculations, and submissions

* Managing BACS payments and reconciliations

* Dealing with client queries and building long-term relationships

* Supporting with manual calculations and resolving discrepancies

What we are looking for

* Experience running payroll end-to-end

* Comfortable working across multiple clients or payrolls

* Strong Excel skills and general systems confidence

* Knowledge of BACS and pension auto-enrolment

* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

* Experience with Star Payroll (or similar systems) would be helpful, but not essential.
