Your new role

As a General Teaching Assistant in a Year 4 classroom, you'll work closely with the class teacher to support daily routines and learning activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting small groups with tasks and providing general classroom support
• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Supporting pupils with varying abilities and, where needed, offering 1:1 support This is a rewarding role where your contribution will make a real difference every day.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Level 2 or above qualification in childcare or education
• A proactive, supportive attitude and strong communication skills
• Confidence in managing classroom routines and assisting pupils with different needs
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for education
