Job Title: Social Worker - Adolescent and Exploitation Team

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Salary: £24 - £30

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children & families Social care Exploitation team, supporting children, young people, and families to achieve positive outcomes and safeguarding their welfare.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of need in collaboration with other teams and agencies, adhering to policies and guidelines.
Undertake risk assessments and develop risk management strategies, making referrals to other agencies when necessary.
Lead investigations into allegations of significant harm to children, consulting with professionals and adhering to legal frameworks and guidance.
Use law, regulations, and statutory guidance to inform practice decisions, incorporating evidence-based research into decision-making processes.
Maintain professional standards, including compliance with policies, procedural guidelines, and high-quality casework recording.
Contribute to team management, service objectives, and financial management within the Children's Services Directorate.
Work flexibly across Children's Services and with partners to meet the needs of children, young people, and families.Requirements:

Registered with Social work England
A Degree in Social work or Diploma in SW, CQSW, CSS
Right to Work
Enhanced DBS check, dated within the last 12 months
Grade J: Successful completion or intention to complete the ASYE programme.
Familiarity with young people and families involved in MACE, Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), and Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).
