Our client, a well-established Heating & Gas company based in Maidstone is on the hunt for a Commercial Heating & Gas Engineer to join the team.

This role will see you working from time to time on projects in London. An average split of work would be 65% of projects outside of London and 35% of projects in London. As our client is commercial specialists you will be working on sites such as schools and care homes which means an enhanced DBS is a necessity.

We are looking for an industry professional with a commercial background. Someone who can hit the ground running.

The role will report directly into the Lead Engineer and the Operations Manager on a daily basis. There is a strong managerial structure in place to provide clear guidance and advice. The MD has a hands on approach to the daily running of the business and has clear 6, 12 and 18 month plans for the business.

What does the role entail?

* Installation of commercial gas systems and plant

* Service, maintenance, and fault finding on commercial gas systems

* Working across a range of commercial sites

* Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards

* Delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service

What are we looking for?

* Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or equivalent)

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Proven experience in a similar role

* Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
