Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Team Lead for a full-time position at an outstanding school in Chelmsford, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Studies educator with leadership potential to inspire students and lead a dynamic team. As the Business Studies Team Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the department's vision, curriculum, and ensuring student success at both GCSE and A-Level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Business Studies department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality lessons at GCSE and A-Level.

• Develop and implement a forward-thinking Business Studies curriculum that engages students and enhances their understanding of key concepts.

• Inspire and mentor a team of Business Studies teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

• Drive the department's initiatives to integrate technology, enhance learning experiences, and ensure the department's continued growth.

• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to align departmental objectives with the school's overall goals.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A degree in Business Studies or a related field.

• PGCE or QTS.

• Proven experience teaching Business Studies at secondary school level (including PGCE placements).

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a team.

• A passion for technology and education, with a vision for advancing Business Studies education within the school.

Salary:

This Business Studies Team Lead role will be offered on a permanent contract, with a salary aligned to the MPS/UPS pay scale, plus additional allowances for leadership responsibilities.
