About the RoleA specialist school in West Molesey is urgently seeking a committed Teacher to join their team. This provision supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), as well as autism and ADHD. The school takes a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach with small class sizes and a focus on building relationships and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated lessons across the curriculum

• Support pupils working below age-related expectations

• Create a calm, structured, and nurturing classroom environment

• Build positive relationships to support emotional regulation and learning

• Work alongside teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff

• Adapt teaching to meet individual learning and wellbeing needs

Ideal candidates will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have experience in primary or secondary teaching (SEMH or SEND experience desirable)

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management using a relational approach

• Be patient, resilient, and adaptable

• Be committed to inclusive, trauma-informed practice
