JC14 - Production Operator

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a reliable and hardworking Production Operator to join their Coatbridge facility team, working a day/night shift cycle.

Our client provides a comprehensive range of waste management and recycling services, predominately handling and processing waste oils and fuels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Production Operator will undertake a wide range of duties within the operations on-site, which include the following:

Waste oil processing.
Storage tank farm management.
Vacuum Distillation.
Oil separation (centrifuges).
Loading and offloading road tankers.
Overseeing the on-site waste transfer station for handling hazardous waste.

The Production Operator will work a day/night shift pattern as follows:

Four x 12-hours shifts per week - 4 days / 3 off / 4 nights / 3 off (repeat).
Days - 07:00 to 19:00, Monday to Thursday
Nights - 19:00 to 07:00, Monday to Thursday, (finish 07:00 Friday morning).
There will be a requirement to work an occasional half-day on a Friday, paid at overtime rate.

Previous experience in a similar role (highly desirable).

Able to follow process procedures.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
Follow all on-site Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
