The Role - Inclusion Mentor

We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Inclusion Mentor to join a specialist SEMH school in Bexley, supporting students aged 11-16. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the school's Inclusion Unit, working with students who need additional support to remain engaged in their education and helping them transition successfully back into the classroom.

Responsibilities include:

Running a structured Inclusion Unit that supports positive behaviour and engagement

*

Delivering targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation

*

Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to develop confidence, resilience, and focus

*

Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral leads to implement behaviour strategies

*

Promoting a calm and therapeutic environment where pupils feel safe and supported

*

Monitoring student progress and contributing to personalised learning plans
