Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Car Allowance

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role, you must possess the following:

Experience as a Commercial Manager within a roofing subcontractor environment
Strong understanding of flat and pitched roofing, cladding, and envelope systems
Excellent knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
Skilled in cost control, forecasting, and CVRs
Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial tools
Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction (preferred)
Full UK Driving LicenceDuties

Client-facing with a professional, solution-focused approach
Manage commercial aspects of roofing projects from tender to final account
Support pre-construction with enquiries, take-offs, and pricing
Lead subcontract procurement and contract administration
Monitor project performance, valuations, variations, and change control
Work with operations teams to maintain cost, quality, and programme
Produce accurate monthly CVRs and forecasts
Ensure commercial procedure compliance and implement improvements
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
