Private Client Senior Associate
Join a respected London law firm where you can lead a specialist team handling complex contentious trusts and probate matters. This role offers the opportunity to shape a growing practice while working closely with an experienced partner.
You will be part of an established private client team within a well-regarded London firm known for long standing client relationships and high-quality legal advice. Based primarily in the Islington office, you will oversee the Contentious Trusts and Probate team while managing your own varied caseload.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing complex contentious probate and trust disputes for individuals, executors, trustees, and beneficiaries
- Supervising solicitors, trainees, and paralegals while supporting their development and caseload management
- Advising clients on disputes relating to wills, estates, and trusts while maintaining high levels of client care
- Supporting business development, networking, and building new client relationships
We're Looking For:
- Qualified solicitor with at least 6 years' experience in contentious trusts and probate or contentious probate disputes
- Strong experience managing complex estate and trust disputes independently
- Previous supervisory or team management experience
- Excellent client communication skills with empathy and discretion
- Commercial awareness with an interest in developing the practice and building client relationships
