The Role - Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming all-through SEMH school for boys in Wandsworth. The school supports students aged 5-19 who present with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students who often display challenging behaviours, helping them engage with their education and reach their potential.

You'll be working closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, nurturing learning environment, using your experience and initiative to de-escalate challenging situations and provide consistent support throughout the school day.

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience working with children or young people with complex needs, including ADHD and SEMH, and who is committed to making a real difference in their lives.

The School - SEMH All Through School

This specialist all-through SEMH school caters to boys aged 5-19 and is located in the heart of Wandsworth. The school currently supports around 120 pupils and was rated 'Good' across all areas in their most recent Ofsted inspection (September 2022). With a strong and supportive team, the school provides a structured and therapeutic environment where both staff and students can thrive. The school pride themselves in providing high-quality, personalised and inclusive education for their students. The school is a short walk away from the tube station and has good bus route journeys along with staff parking available.
