Desian Recruitment is excited to be working in partnership with a primary school in Birkenhead to find a dedicated part-time Early Years Teaching Assistant.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

This is a part-time role 8.30am-12.30pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting learning through play and structured activities

* Assisting with planning and delivering engaging lessons

* Helping to create a warm and nurturing classroom atmosphere

* Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed

* Monitoring and recording children's progress and development

What We're Looking For:

* Experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery)

* A caring and patient approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance) - desirable but not essential

* A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
