Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead - Adult LD & Autism | £30,000 - £35,000 | Greater Manchester

Are you an experienced behaviour support professional ready to take on a leadership role in a forward-thinking adult social care provider? We're looking for a PBS Lead to drive positive change across services supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge in Greater Manchester.

Salary between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Initial 12-month contract with potential to go permanent

Responsibilities

*

Develop and implement proactive, person-centred behaviour support plans

*

Offer clinical input and case oversight across multiple services

*

Provide hands-on guidance, mentoring, and supervision to support staff

*

Collaborate with operational leads to embed PBS in everyday practice

*

Lead behavioural risk assessments and adapt strategies as needed

*

Train and model effective PBS approaches across teams

*

Contribute to service planning, audits, and external reviews

*

Promote continuous learning and reflective practice at all levels

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years' experience in a behaviour support or PBS leadership role

*

Recognised qualification in PBS, ABA, or a related field

*

Confident designing and adapting individualised behaviour support plans

*

Experience in adult care settings, specifically with autism and learning disabilities

*

Ability to coach and influence teams across various services

*

Hold an LDQ or LDF qualification

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Desirable

*

Higher education qualification in a relevant area

*

Background working across supported living and residential services

*

Experience contributing to improved inspection outcomes

*

Skilled in delivering training and clinical supervision

*

A collaborative mindset and commitment to ethical, inclusive support

*

Proactive, compassionate, and solutions-focused approach
