We're looking for an experienced Building Safety Surveyor to join a highly respected national housing association on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring resident safety across a South London-to-Kent patch, focusing on the delivery of key building safety activities.

What you'll be responsible for:

Carrying out inspections and assessments relating to fire doors, compartmentation and wider fire safety measures

*

Managing and overseeing contractor performance, ensuring quality and compliance

*

Supporting the delivery of building safety remediation programmes

*

Producing clear, accurate reports and advising on required actions

*

Working collaboratively with internal teams, residents, and external partners

What you'll need:

Strong technical knowledge of fire doors, compartmentation, and passive fire safety

*

Experience in contract management and performance monitoring

*

Ability to confidently manage your own patch and workload

*

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills
