My client is a Tier One Main Contractor who is multi-disciplined within several aspects of civil Engineering & Infrastructure. They have a huge presence all over the UK working on landmark projects that range in value from £10M - £120M. My client has been trading for over 80 years and is currently going through the busiest period the companies have ever had. Despite going through such a busy patch, they are not staying stagnant and will continue to grow as an organisation. The types of works they covered involve water infrastructure, highways infrastructure & bridge infrastructure.

About the opportunity

Due to a huge pipeline of work, my client is now looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on major pipeline scheme. It is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK and the role will involve working closely with the in-house design team and managing them, working in the pre-construction team and working on tenders, overseeing site teams, implementing quality and health & Safety on-site, and dealing directly with the clients. You will be working on a £350M project that will be going on for at least the next 5 years. This is an Anglian Water project and will involve pumping stations and break tanks.

Benefits and Rewards

You will receive a very competitive salary which will range between £70,000 to £80,000 as well as a company car allowance, 6% pension contribution, medical and dental cover, 34 days annual leave and share opportunities.

About the requirements

It's important that you have experience working for a UK-based Utility & Civil Engineering contractor, ideally within the water sector. I am also looking for someone who has a technical mindset, someone who has experience taking projects from the pre-construction stage through to completion, as a Senior Project Manager in the UK. It's also important you have strong stability throughout your working career
