Driver, full UK driving licence, is desired not essential What do our Support Workers do? Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.
The Droveway is a specialist residential service for adults aged 18+, with moderate to severe autism spectrum conditions and associated complex needs, including behaviour that may challenge.
Residents at The Droveway are supported to participate in activities including budgeting, gardening and meal planning ;People are also supported in building their independence skills such as cooking, meal preparation, budgeting and self care.
What experience do you need? You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker.
If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions.
A basic level of English and Math is also required.
