An outstanding specialist Secondary School in Croydon is seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students aged 11-19 with ASD in a nurturing, inclusive and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the learning, development and wellbeing of students with ASD

Work collaboratively with teachers and the therapy team to deliver tailored strategies

Encourage independence, communication, and self-confidence in students

Contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive classroom culture

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience supporting children or young people with ASD/additional needs (desirable but not essential)

*

A patient, empathetic and resilient approach

*

A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young people to reach their potential

*

Reliability and commitment to supporting the full academic year
