One of the UK's leading engineering consultancies, known for their warm, sociable company culture and flexible approach to work, are looking to appoint an Associate Civil Engineer. You will lead on the design and design project management of highways, drainage, earthworks with a focus on residential developments, in their London office, located conveniently in Waterloo, London.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Civil Engineer, you will be required to act as a technical lead on projects, mostly in the residential sector.
You will provide design project management expertise.
Delegate tasks to junior staff, and be responsible for upskilling and mentoring.
Have client-facing interactions.The Ideal Associate Civil Engineer:

Extensively experienced in the design of highways, drainage and earthworks for developments.
Currently working at a UK Engineering Design Consultancy at Principal or Associate Level, with excellent project management and team leading ability.
Be well versed in the applicable standards e.g. DMRB, MfS, CIRIA SuDS, SFA etc.
Great knowledge of current industry standard software such as Info/MicroDrainage/Flow and Civil 3D.
Desirable but not required: Chartership.Rewards and Benefits:

An outstanding base salary of up to £70,000, dependent on experience.
Potential for bonus subject to company and individual performance, reviewed at least annually (Note the company has paid bonuses every year since inception).
A formal salary appraisal review every 6 months.
Hybrid home/office working
37.5 hours a week.
