Purpose of the Job:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for being accountable for the proactive day-to-day account management for one our existing blue-chip clients. You will be responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience as well as achieving our performance targets, operational and financial goals, and ensuring our service is in-keeping with regulatory, legislative and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however KSD Support Services Ltd may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.

  • Act as the primary point of contact contact for dedicated client queries;
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review service performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Monitor and report on account performance, including service delivery, financial metrics, and client feedback;
  • Work closely with internal teams (management, helpdesk, engineers etc...) to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues promptly;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, contracts, and service agreements;
  • Prepare detailed reports on account activities, service performance, and client satisfaction;
  • Ensure the highest quality of service is being provided by our engineers and subcontractors to the client;
  • Ensuring that innovation, new ways of working and best practice is shared and implemented across our areas of operation and the wider team;
  • Accountability for budgets and schedule of rates;
  • Ensure that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times with the in-house engineers and subcontractors - liaise with the Health & Safety Director on any issues and concerns;

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role, preferably in the facilities management, construction, maintenance or related industry;
  • Strong understanding of facilities management services and best practices;
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload with a track record of meeting deadlines and working effectively with others to achieve targets;
  • The ability to work under pressure, multitask and maintain high levels of attention to detail;
  • Be able to build good working relationships both across the Company and with external clients;
  • Be a confident problem solver and decision-maker;
  • Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
  • The ability to effectively manage and lead a team; inspiring, supporting and developing them to optimise their performance;
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence;
  • Proficient in the use of IT platforms, Outlook, Word, Excel.

Additional Information:
