Materials Handler

Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 (Plus Overtime)

We are working with a well-established company looking to expand Due to significant and sustained business growth, looking to expand the Moulding team by recruiting a Materials Handler.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably within Injection Moulding. However, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates the right attitude and work ethic. A valid counterbalance FLT licence and experience operating counterbalance forklift trucks is essential.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Organisation and management of mould tooling, materials, and finished goods storage areas
• Receipt, checking, and inspection of incoming goods
• Identification and movement of mould tooling to and from moulding machines
• Movement of moulding materials to and from moulding machines
• Supplying packaging materials and ancillary components to production
• Ensuring all required materials are available to support continuous production
• Safe operation of counterbalance FLTs, pallet trucks, and manual handling equipment
• Delivery of goods to customers using ATS transport

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience organising a warehouse within a small to medium-sized manufacturing company
• A current counterbalance forklift licence (Essential)
• A full UK manual driving licence (Essential)
• Experience working within an ISO-controlled environment
• Good PC literacy skills
