The Opportunity:

A highly regarded primary school in Lewisham is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive teaching team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 4 pupils, ensuring the curriculum is delivered in a way that meets the needs of all learners.

Regularly assess and monitor pupil progress, providing clear, constructive feedback to both students and parents, and adjusting teaching methods to maximize student achievement.

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages high standards of behaviour and active participation.

*

Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to teaching across the school.

Develop strong partnerships with parents, keeping them well-informed about their child's progress and encouraging their involvement in the school community.

Participate in school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching practices.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

A strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with experience in delivering effective lessons that inspire and engage students.

*

Demonstrated ability to assess pupil progress and use data to tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs.

*

Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

*

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

*

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for supporting students' growth, both academically and personally.
