Job Advert: Children’s Home Team Leader

Location: Greenford

Pay: £14.50 per hour

Contract: Full-time, shift work including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a children’s residential home in Greenford. You’ll play a key role in supporting young people, guiding staff, and ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience in residential childcare and is ready to take on additional responsibility in leading a team.

• Leading and supporting a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality care
• Acting as a positive role model for both staff and young people
• Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
• Ensuring safeguarding and care standards are consistently met
• Assisting with rota management, staff supervision, and development
• Providing direct support to young people, including shift work and sleep-ins

• Experience working in a children’s residential home (essential)
• Supervisory or senior experience within care (desirable)
• NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (or working towards)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
