IT Security Engineer required by an established company located in Horsham. The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for:

Protecting internal IT systems and maintaining the company's security infrastructure
Monitoring security systems
Checking server & firewall logs
Supporting security audits
Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing dfixes
Assisting with system backups & updates
Data protection
Providing IT security support

Key Experience:

A technical background in IT support (2nd line)
Commercial experience in role where IT security has been the main focus
Firewalls
Supporting users with IT security

Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite:

Working on security audits
ISO 27001
