Technology plays a key role in Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the delivery of the pledges made by our Metro Mayor.
The successful candidate will work in our IT team and will help ensure the services we provide are highly available and secure.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Cyber Security systems. Whilst the focus of the successful candidate will be on Cyber Security at LCRCA, there is a requirement to also be a contributing member of the wider IT team.
Candidates should have considerable hands-on experience working in IT, with a focus on cyber or information security. You will need experience of working in a hybrid cloud/on-premise based environment. In addition, you will need to demonstrate you have the ability to identify the root cause of issues and solve problems.
You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday in a hybrid way of working between home and our headquarters at Mann Island. Holiday entitlement is 28 days per year (pro rata to service) which increases after 5 years’ service. Bank holidays are in addition to the annual leave entitlement.
