Temporary Production Technician
Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00; Fri 08:00-13:00)
Contract Type: Temporary (to provide short-term cover)

We are currently seeking a Temporary Production Technician to join a manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role in a busy production environment, ideal for someone who is methodical, reliable, and comfortable with repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately weigh and mix chemical compounds in line with detailed job instructions

Assemble precision components by following technical manuals and instructions

Carry out quality checks and product testing to ensure standards are met

Safely handle and store chemicals in accordance with internal procedures and HSE regulations

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in the work area

Record production data and maintain safety documentation accurately

Proactively raise any quality or assembly issues with supervisors

Support general site maintenance and ad hoc tasks as required

About You:

Comfortable with repetitive tasks and following detailed instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

A proactive approach to health and safety

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is desirable but not essential

This is a temporary position to provide cover, with a fixed work schedule and a focus on maintaining high safety and quality standards.
