Description

  • Manage a portfolio of private clients, delivering tailored tax advice and solutions.
  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and associated computations.
  • Advise clients on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other personal tax matters.
  • Assist with tax planning strategies to optimise clients' financial positions.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless client experience.

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as CTA, ATT, or ACCA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and associated legislation.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Experience in delivering tax planning advice to private clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
