IT Support Technician - Hands-On Role Location: Sheffield (site based Monday - Friday)Salary: Up to £28,000

Elevation Recruitment Tech & Transformation are partnering with a prestigious Sheffield based business looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team. This isn’t just another reactive support role, you’ll be hands-on across hardware, networks, business systems and security, helping the business run smoothly and efficiently.

What the IT Support Technician will do:

• Troubleshoot PC hardware, networks, and applications
• Support Microsoft Windows & 365 environments
• Maintain backups, databases (SQL / MS Access) and email security
• Assist with IT purchasing, asset management and software licensing
• Help drive improvements across IT processes

What we’re looking for:

• Demonstrable commercial experience in IT support 
• Strong Windows & Microsoft 365 knowledge
• Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, switches, firewalls)
• Hardware troubleshooting & end-user support
• Cyber security awareness
• Level 3 IT Support qualification (desirable)
• Microsoft Excel knowledge
