FMCG MANUFACTURING BUSINESS

c£50,000 - £57,000 per annum + Car Allowance (£6000) + up to 10% Bonus + Life Assurance + Pension (7%) + Healthcare + 33 Days Holiday.

Achieving significant yearly improvements across all their sites, this global manufacturing business are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Continuous Improvement professional to join their Northwest based manufacturing site.

This role will very suit a Continuous Improvement professional who is motivated by developing employee CI engagement and application of tools. Working from a well-developed framework, you will have the autonomy to make key improvement decisions and really take the business to the next level of operational excellence across multiple sites across their group.

Role Description.

* Play a key role in defining and developing the site improvement strategy.

* Support the implementation of the CI program for all plants across the UK.

* Facilitate and deliver improvement projects - Kaizen and SMED workshops.

* Support in the implementation of new tools and improvement projects.

* Monitor performance of the plans, preparing analysis for monthly progress meetings.

* Ensure systems are implemented to the required standards.

* Communicate CI plans and discuss ideas with other professionals across the group.

* Reporting the progress of the plan to key stakeholders within the business.

* Reporting into the Senior Operational Excellence Manager on site.

Skills and Qualifications.

* Experience of delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives.

* Experience of working within industrial manufacturing environments.

* Skilled in applying improvement tools and techniques - Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Problem Solving Techniques.

* Qualified to 6 Sigma Green Belt as a minimum.

* Strong communication and engagement skills.
