Private Client Associate / Senior Associate - Tax, Trusts & Wills
Location: Bournemouth (with hybrid working)
Experience: 4+ Years PQE
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

A highly regarded law firm on the South Coast is looking for an experienced Private Client Associate or Senior Associate to join its respected Tax, Trusts & Wills team. The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role within the private client team, with responsibilities including:

• Advising clients on a range of private client issues including wills, trusts, tax planning, and estate administration
• Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
• Drafting and reviewing documentation such as wills, trust deeds, and powers of attorney
• Building relationships with new clients and handling enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Providing clear, practical advice with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures including anti-money laundering, engagement protocols, and billing
• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues as needed
• Contributing to the team's marketing and business development efforts

Candidate Profile
Applications are welcomed from lawyers who can demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 4 years' PQE in private client work
• Strong technical ability in wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A commercial and client-focused mindset
• Confidence in managing a busy caseload independently
• A proactive attitude and an interest in developing business through networking and referrals
• Experience in supervising or mentoring junior colleagues is advantageous

STEP membership or progress towards the qualification would be an advantage.
