An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Chelmsford. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Mechanical / Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Chelmsford. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

City & Guilds / NVQ
NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
Multi-skilled
Good communication skills
Excellent customer skills
Need to be able to travel back home after finishing at 00:00am Mechanical duties:

Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
Motors - PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
Water treatment - dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
Water pressurization units
Chlorifiers - annual inspection, descaling
Steam Plant
Condensers, Condenser Returns
Cooling towers
Softeners
Humidifiers
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Boilers - re-sets
