We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in the LU area. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for food preparation and kitchen operations. Applicants must live locally and have the right to work full-time in the UK.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the preparation of all menu items under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Support the kitchen team in stocking and organising supplies.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the head chef.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory and record food temperatures to ensure freshness and quality.
• Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and adhere to industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must live locally in the LU area.
• Must have the right to work full-time in the UK.
