NOW Education is currently recruiting for a qualified SEND Teacher for a flexible position within a specialist all-through SEN school based in Moseley. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a well-established SEND provision supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex learning needs.

The school provides a highly supportive and nurturing environment for pupils aged 3-19, focusing on personalised learning, communication development and life skills. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential.

We are seeking a patient and skilled teacher who has experience working within SEND settings and is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs available on a flexible basis.

The Role
As a supply SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with ASD and complex needs. You will create a calm, structured and engaging learning environment that supports communication, independence and emotional regulation.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons in line with the school's curriculum
• Support pupils with ASD and complex needs through structured teaching approaches
• Implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Use positive behaviour strategies to support engagement and emotional regulation
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and wider SEN staff
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly

What We're Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status - QTS (essential)
• Experience working with pupils with ASD and complex needs (desirable)
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Flexibility to work 1-5 days per week
• A calm, patient and adaptable teaching style
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them achieve independence
