RoleRole & Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs using the P Scales curriculum.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies for diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment through proactive behaviour management.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create comprehensive student support plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
  • Contribute to the overall school improvement plan.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum of 6 months experience teaching students with SEN in the UK
  • Strong understanding of the P Scales curriculum
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
