We are currently working on behalf of a national M&E Building Services Contractor who are looking to recruit for the following position in the South West

Required: Mechanical Site Manager/Snr Mechanical Supervisor

Employment: Permanent

Salary: circa £50k p/a (negotiable based on level of experience)

Start date: Immediate

Purpose: Managing the day to day mechanical installation of a new commercial project and reporting to the site based Project Manager.

Your first project:

Working on a new commercial construction build in Gloucestershire, overseeing circa £4m mechanical services & sub-contractors (heating pipework, plumbing services, ductwork, fire protection) over the next 11months.

Responsibilities:

Managing Health & Safety on site

Organising daily site operations and material deliveries

Implementing Company Quality Assurance procedures

Managing sub-contractors and labour (pipework, domestics, ductwork, fire protection)

Attending site meetings with Client and supply chain

Carrying out tool box talks, site briefings and inductions

Your ideal attributes & experience:

Disciplined, organised and methodical

Technically competent and a good general understanding of mechanical services (ideally from a commercial plumbing or heating back ground)

Client facing with excellent customer skills

IT literacy - basic packages

Previous experience in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years
