JDR Recruitment are recruiting a Junior Sales Representative for their client
Location: City of London
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000
Contract type: Permanent
The Role:
Support the sales team by generating new business opportunities through outbound B2B sales activity.
Conduct proactive outreach to prospective clients via phone, email and online channels.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess suitability and potential.
Book meetings and appointments for the Sales Manager with qualified prospects.
Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer and prospect information.
Provide general sales administration support including preparing reports, tracking activity and updating pipelines.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients to nurture future opportunities.
Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a consistent and effective sales approach.
Achieve agreed activity targets including calls, emails and meetings booked.
Support marketing campaigns and follow up on leads generated through promotional activity.
Handle basic customer enquiries and direct more complex queries to senior team members.
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with company policies and procedures.
Experience / Skills Required:
A minimum of 2 years experience within a B2B sales role is neccesary for this position
Confident communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with new people.
Highly organised with good attention to detail.
Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn.
Resilient and target-driven with a positive attitude.
Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
A willingness to develop a career in sales.
