Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm
Start Date: ASAP (subject to vetting)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to work within Special Educational Needs settings in Southampton.

This is a temporary role initially. For the right candidates who settle in well, schools are keen to discuss permanent opportunities.

The Role

Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs

Working closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour, and emotional development

Providing one-to-one or small group support

Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

Requirements

Applicants must be aged 20 or over

A minimum of 2 years' work experience in any sector

Prior experience in a school or care setting is beneficial but not essential

Available to work 5 days per week

Able to work from 8.30am to 3.30pm

Passionate about supporting children with additional needs

Willing to complete required safeguarding and vetting checks
