General Teaching Assistant | Bury, Suffolk | Immediate Start | 2 days a week

A friendly Primary School based in Bury are looking for a dynamic, kind, and hard-working experienced GENERAL Teaching Assistant to join their ever-growing team in ASAP! You will be working part time 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday) with various primary aged children.

The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• ASAP start
• Duration: sick cover
• Contract type: Contracted
• Part-time - Thursday and Friday only
• Minimum rate £90 per day*
• Hours - 8:15am - 3:45pm

The successful applicants will have:

• Experience working with primary aged-children (DESIRABLE)
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers
• Excellent literacy, numeracy & ICT skills
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold an enhanced child, child & adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
• In-house Training and Development Team
