Forklift licence and full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

The Role:

* Warehouse Operations:

* Unload and inspect incoming deliveries, updating internal stock systems.

* Quarantine and record any non-compliant materials.

* Pick and prepare customer orders, ensuring accuracy and care.

* Operate forklift trucks for loading/unloading and moving stock.

* Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.

* Logistics Coordination:

* Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer and business requirements.

* Liaise with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely shipments.

* Data & Systems Management:

* Maintain efficient stock locating, storage, and rotation systems

* Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools for tracking and reporting.

* Prepare and manage documentation for shipping, customs, and compliance.

* Communication & Reporting:

* Respond promptly to emails and internal requests.

* Record and report waste, damage, or rejected goods

* Generate reports on inventory, delivery performance, and cost optimization.

* Continuous Improvement:

* Keep the warehouse environment clean, tidy, and safe at all times

* Analyze workflow and propose efficiency improvements.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Valid UK driving licence

* Forklift truck licence

* Previous hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment

* Excellent IT proficiency and confident using warehouse systems

* Effective communication and organisational skills

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work methodically and maintain attention to detail
