Salary: £32000 - £36000/annum

To perform the role of Senior CAD designer in the design and development of client projects from architectural drawings ready for manufacture including all bespoke joinery and any associated items within project scope.

* To develop CAD drawings for construction and manufacturing in the most cost effective/efficient manner including revisions and management of drawing register/filing systems to support.

* To co-ordinate design information from clients with robust communication with key contacts (internally and externally).

* To support the wider team by qualifying drawings for production and ensure the information is accurate for production, qualifies the materials required (in the most cost-effective manner), and all variations are captured.

* To support the Buyer in the purchasing of materials and the Project Manager in the creation of work instructions (where required) for production of items.

* To produce relevant CNC drawings and cutting lists for production including the production of relevant cutting list for the project to optimise materials purchased.

* To liaise with relevant sub-contractors and suppliers for specialist items in the design and development (within cost budgets).

* To work with the Estimator in identifying any variations during the design and development stages that require re-quotation or cost updates.

* To consistently have robust communications between production and project managers to ensure all working cohesively in achieving company deadlines.

* To develop on-going relationships and excellent communication (including site meetings) and be adept at being the interface between the client, the business and all relevant suppliers/sub- contractors to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.

* To conduct site surveys including final measurements, templating and construction detail to ensure production (where required).

* To work effectively in a team within business with effective communication and regular briefings on projects (including hand-over meetings).

* Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis
